Hey guys, Im starting to prepere for my 3rd go. at the last 2 grows i failed becuase i started them at june, and in my country its starting to be really hot around that time, so i figured i need to change everything i did. so this time i want to grow them in the ground(last time I grew them in pots), but i dont know if i should just put the seed in the ground or should i start them in cups? and should i dig holes and put in them bought soil, or just use the current soil? THANK YOU VERY MUCH! AND I REALLY HOPE TO SUCCEED THIS YEAR!! PS. sorry if i have some spelling mistakes im not from the usa or the uk or something...
Hey gupr. I wouldnt put my seed directly into the ground. Temperature and moisture are critical and outdoors, you dont have any control over either. At least start them in cups in good storebought soil and let them get started. In a natural setting, 98% of all seeds/seedlings fail within the first 2 weeks of germination. If you can get past that point, your probabilty of growing the plant to full term is increased dramatically. Soil: If crops such as corn or soybeans are grown in your area then the soil may be ok. Look at the deciduous, herbacious weeds that grow in the area now. Did they get big durring the year? If weed growth is vigorous and crops are grown, your soil may be ok and just need a good dose of nutes. If the grow site has shrubby, brush type growth with bald spots in the dirt, you'll probably need to dig a hole and buy a bag of soil to fill it with. My 2cents. Good luck
^ pretty much that You should probably start your seeds in April, depending on your region.. June is too late, won't give your plants enough time to veg before they go into flowering. I recommend buying seeds online, so you have better plants that will be able to survive the season possibly better than bagseed. Also look into feminized seeds, as they eliminate the annoyance of planting seeds just to pull them later.
Hey guys, thank you for your answers! Im not going to buy seeds, becuase im not even sure if the climate in my country is good for growing pot. in the summer tempratures may rise up to 40 C or even a little bit more! So im just going to grow it from bagseeds... So i guess what im going to do is to start sprouting them in cups, and after two weeks I will move them to the holes with the bought soil. about nuts, do I really need to use them? and if I do can you tell me wich ones should i use? THANKS AGAIN!
Doesn't seem like you've done much, if any research. The hotter and more tropic, the better for mj. Read these and they will help you avoid asking dumb questions. Marijuana Seeds Search Garden http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-marijuana-growing/308969-outdoor-grow-guide.html Good luck
Well, I have made a research but i guess my sources were wrong... any ways guys, what strain is good for hot and moist climate? If i will buy seeds, I want them to fit perfectly for my climate and I want to have high precentage of success...so I wont just spend money and time with no reward. by the way i prefer sativas.
