Preharvest Flush with mango juice

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by cannaBULL1, Sep 26, 2014.

  1. I have several plants that I started flushing last week. I'm considering an experimental flush here with my mango kush. The plant is already starving due to the flush. I'm thinking of diluting a half gallon,of,organic mango juice, then raising the ph and doing another short flush with the fruit juice just to see how she does as far as flavor. I figure she produces her own sugars and starches BUT I've removed the fan leaves and starved her. I figure "hey a plant can soak up some weed killer, why not some juice?" I mean it'll most likely kill my girl anyway but I'm about,to murder the cheating botch anyway right? I'll keep you all posted if you want to,follow :) btw someone stole my main cola (assholes) so that's why this is an experimental plant.
Here's a small nug I snipped off to look at under the microscope

  3. Actually, I think what I'm going to do, is kind of transfer it from soil, to hydro. I'm going to,mix 50-50 juice and water, then bring up the ph to 6.5. Think of it as like when you buy, someone flowers, you put it in a vase of water after cutting an angle in the stem. Only I'm going to pull up the entire plant and shake off as much soil as I can and just sit it in my 5gallon bucket reservoir. Well I'm going to ATTEMPT to keep the roots. if not, I'll just cut the main stalk as if I were putting a rose in a vase. I'll post plenty of pictureS. I'm starting, now

  4. Oh and I'm doing my mango kush this way, also I'm doing another in grape juice. Worst that happens is it kills them lol I'll probably keep them in my 5 gallon "juice vase" until they shrivel up. I'm excited. This probably won't work at all but hey I dipped pickles in peanut butter once after I smoked, sounded like a terrible idea but I had positive results lmao

  6. I love it, why the hell not? :D  You cant go wrong.

get an air stone and pump and keep it alive and happy with some air.

  7. I thought about that, but it's harvest time anyway. I broke a lot of roots when I pulled them up lol. Honestly I think I can smell the juice in the buds. May be in my head, or may be the actual juice I'm smelling. Lol who cares it's a bad ass experiment

  8. The bottoms of my,leaves that are in the grape juice mixture are actually turning purple. I don't think it was there before. Guess I'll know tomorrow

  9. food coloring? watch for the sugars attracting bugs, it is late in the game but bugs are fast.

  10. what is the mango juice supposed to do to the plant?

  11. Flavor was his "experiment". What do you think Auggie? Is he better to drink it himself while trimming?

  12.
    yeah..

throw some vodka in there and have a party :p

  13. I'll say I,don't,notice a lot,of difference in the actual buds, but the actual plants themselves are perkier than ever lol they do feel ALOT more solid though than the ones I trimmed last night. They're rock hard. But no difference in appearance or smell.

  14. Sounds like a good way to invite bugs and mold into your grow and potentially lose your crop.  Why not just add a few drops of Tasty Puff Mango into your cure jars or bags if you are going for a Mango flavor in the bud?  Definitely an interesting idea though... keep us updated on how it works out.

  15. Well this was only a 24 hour soak just as an experiment. I'm harvesting them now actually: ) I've never felt more solid nugs directly from a plant
