hello my fellow stoners, my female plant is now about 2 feet tall (growing outside) and is devoloping alot of white hairs. i am wondering if it is now time to start preflowering and the 12/12 cycle or should i wait longer? how do i know when to begin 12/12? any help is much appreciated.
the white pestils are the first sign of a female plant . Since there are alot of white pestils its a female in bloom . you are growing outside and you cant set the sun to shine 12/12 . Search the forum for "preflower" "sexing" and "photoperiod"
Hmmm? Pre-flowers are parts of the plant that develop before you put it in 12/12 that show what sex it is. I'm presuming that you have a total dark place to put your lady for 12 hours a day? She's going to about double in size when you flower (depending on the strain and growing conditions) If it's going to be to unwieldy to move around at double the current size I'd start 12/12 right away.
