Predictions for the next 10 years?

  1. Well he is the father of George W. Im guessing he was after jackons oil supply.

  2. credit cards and keys will merge with cellphones

I doubt there will be that many differences

  3. i think china currently has a secret plan on place to take over the world. they have the army for it.

i think all it takes is a big fuck up from the US, and they invade. similar to nazi germany.

  4. Flying cars!

  5. One of the major food sources, zooplankton is also becoming less common, without zooplankton the entire ocean grinds to a halt.

Google 'dying ocean' 'dying corals' there's good evidence to support it.

Ask marine biologists, they're not happy.

And we got Cameron going down there to exploit even more of the ocean.

Anything we dip our hands into, dies.

  6. We could destroy china, and they could destroy us. We need each other

  7. Farris Bueller takes another day off.

  8. I'm super serial!!!!!:eek::D

  9. While its most likely not 100% accurate, and doesn't give reasons for some of their predictions, its still friggin nuts!

that would be awesome! I'd buy me one of those if I had the money and I'm not even paralyzed!

  10. honestly i don't see any major wars happening, at least not any the US will be involved in. At the end of the day i think both Iran and North Korea know that starting a war with us is likely suicide. I won't rule out the possibility of the US making the first move though once elections are over, but i don't think it's that likely. If anything the cia or something will do some kind of covert ops shit that we won't know anything about and likely would never hear about.

Economically i think in ten years the US will be recovering nicely.

Technology is moving WAY too fast for me to want to make any specific predictions. However, i think most people in the US and likely everyone else in the world will have some sort of ipad-like device. Laptops, phones, and tablets will all become the same thing and the only thing you'll choose is what size you want it to be, like buying a tv.

I'm most interested in where space travel and the aerospace industry are heading, especially because my brother is on the leading edge of it (he works for spaceX). Commercial spaceflight is going to continue to grow at an exponential rate. This year spacex will start carrying cargo and eventually passengers to the ISS for NASA. Once this is successfully done, the precedent will be set and the industry will begin to flourish.

Unfortunately i don't see any lunar bases or manned mars/lunar missions taking place. The cost/vs reward would just be way too much for most people to support, including the government. The only thing that would change this is an economic reason for establishing a base on the moon, for example finding a viable fuel source there which is not out of the question.

However more unmanned mars missions are in the works, and considering what we learned from the last mars mission, i think we'll make some very interesting and historic discoveries. The James Webb telescope will replace the hubble and EPIC shit will happen. I don't even know what, but you can be sure that it will.

Planes will likely start evolving to in significant ways due to costs. I would say we could see another supersonic commercial jet but only if the costs of fuel can in some way be significantly reduced.

  11. About the major wars.. People said that before world war two as well. You never know, wars are extremely unpredictable. There could be greater powers at play here that we could never possibly know.

Yes space exploration/technology is going to explode. So is space commercialism/tourism etc. . They're already building a hotel in space that should be done by 2017.

It will indeed be fuckin epic.

  12. Mass government corruption, Police states. Our friendly neighborhood world police America fucking shit up more  Blood fire and revolutions.

hey i never said it couldn't or wouldn't happen. i'm just giving my predictions here, not facts. also, people also said that every since world war 2 as well. look at the cold war for example. i'm pretty sure tensions with korea and iran are not anywhere remotely close to the level it was during the cold war.

i'm just so excited for the possibilities of space. 60 minutes did like a 20 minute long feature on spacex a few weeks ago. When asked why he wanted to work at spacex, one employee said something like, "Wouldn't you have wanted to be there with the wright brothers, at the start of a new era?" The way he said it was more epic though. That's when it really hit me exactly how much of a pioneer my brother is going to be. I'm so jealous but so proud as well. He's going to do great things.

Years from now i could see air travel advancing to the point where you would leave the atmosphere while traveling just because of the massive speeds you can achieve without atmosphere to get in the way. And companies like spacex will have started it all.

  14. Yeah man, the possibilities as far as space go are endless atm. I think air travel will develop to that point pretty quickly, especially with companies like the one your brother works at, at first it will of course only be for the wealthy who can afford it, but over time it will become more affordable. I can't wait to take a trip to Europe from the states and be there within an hour lol:hello:

  15. yeah space travel is at quite an important juncture right now. The possibilities for it WOULD be endless, if anyone was willing to pay for it. That's where private companies come in. They are going to revolutionize and revitalize the space industry.

  16. The jettisons

  17. I don't know why, but I've had some STRONG feelings that I'm going to end up successful, been having them since I was a kid..

Never knew why really, never met anyone who felt that way either.. But as of late I've been noticing a serious change in my habits that would probably contribute to the outcome of my future.

If I ever become time magazines man of the year, ill give a shout out to GC

  18. I am going to smoke a joint.
