Pre-Paid Credit Card Ordering

Discussion in 'Marijuana Seeds Banks' started by Backtrack, Feb 7, 2011.

  1. So looking for a little input on this. I am looking to order a few seeds from the "The Single Seed Centre", which in the end will get shipped to a United States address. From what I hear on this forum you shouldn't ever use your own credit card for ordering seeds. So even The Single Seed Centre says in their FAQ that they accept giftcards (or pre-paid cards).

What I am wondering is what pre-paid card to get? Locally I have a Walmart/Walgreens, which has a wide variety of cards. I know some require SSN#/Name which probably keep away from. Visa Vanilla's I have heard mixed things about, do they work outside the United States for billing? Any pre-paid's allow international orders?

Hello, here are my suggestions. Amazingly enough I haven't smoked since january last year, and yet I still ramble like I've typed this as ash crumbles off the tip of my tightly wrapped swisher sweet glowing softly as the smoke billows from my lungs.

See if your seed bank will accept . is my personal fav. for international ordering of things I've never ordered... It's also pretty much the standard.

If you purchase a prepaid credit card, obviously pay for it in cash...

Some prepaid cards aren't really the point of what one would be looking for in a prepaid card (anonymity) such as a greendot card, which requires registration, etc.

The vanilla visa cards are awesome, I used to use them (although never for international ordering) all the time. I recently used some target visa cards. One thing the target card doesn't allow checking of the billing address, so say for example, you wanted to open a paypal account and use the target gift card. You wouldn't be able to do that because paypal checks the billing address. (I actually had a $50 and $100 one, the $50 one worked, the $100 didn't, oddly enough)

But enough rambling. See if your supplier will accept . If so, use and cash, yes you pay a fee and yes it does get to be expensive (Think sending $1000 costing you an additional $100 to send to some fucked up country like baklavistan and yes I made up a country using a dessert)

Second if your supplier doesn't check the billing address then any prepaid card *should* work. If they do, some cards can be registered (simon visa gift cards). Basically if the card can be reloaded it can probably be registered to a mr john doe residing on 123 fake st beverly hills ca 90210.

  3. From what I see Single Seed Centre accepts Cash,Bank Transfer, and Credit Card. I know the Vanilla Visa cards are the best but from their policy and what I heard they only work for local United States transfers. The best thing I have heard was Visa Giftcard's were the way to go which allow international charges.

I am wondering if anyone can confirm buying internationally with a Visa gift card? By that I mean anything international, not just seeds.
