Pre Op Physical

    I having surgery on my Nose and Throat on June 17 and I need a physical. On a Pre-Op physical, do they take a drug test? I know they don't on regular annual drug tests but this one might be different.

    i've had 3 surgeries in my day (orthopedic operations) and they never tested for any drugs during the pre-op. they aren't really interested in people smoking a little weed, they have more serious physical complications to look out for.

    I smoke and didn't tell my doctor when I had my foot surgery.
    Things turned out fine. ;)
