In my search for local sources for everything thing I need to go organic I came across this soil made semi locally,,, available down the street, https://www.yelmworms.com/organic-fertilizer/barefootPottingSoil.htm Anyone check it out for me please looks like its got everything I need?
Maybe not "everything" - but it looks pretty good. I prefer peat over coco, but why not give it a whirl? You can always modify and/or top dress as needed. Good luck and thank you for not choosing bottles. J
Thanks guys, still learning ATM but should I add compost to that? I don't see it in there, this place has loads of amendments and I can drive there so not sure if it would be easier to buildup my own mix if compost is needed
I also like having both compost & EWC's - just for a little variety. If its possible for you to make your own soil mix then I say go for it. There's plenty of good reading here in the Organics forums regarding making your own. This way you can control what is in your mix. When buying soil you just never really know...
