I've heard talk about 48 hours of darkness before you cut your plants to harvest sweet goodness. Is this a must? Whats the reason?
It's not a must. Some growers think this tricks the plant into thinking its dieing soon due to no light and makes one last push in resin production. Though many growers argue about this, it comes down to personal choice.
