    Female 270 Lbs 5'10 muscle with a belly. Vaped average 5 hits a day. I stopped vaping for 6 days and drank 2 Omni extra strength with in that time along with a healthy diet, some exercise and gallon of water with lemon daily. I bought home test kits the dip stick ones from Amazon. Tested my self starting day 4 and noticed that the more water I drank before the test the more often I passed it with a faint line. My pee was pretty much clear so I ended up drinking a little bit of Omni to give it color. When I drank the whole bottle at once my pee was florescent yellow which I didn't think was good, but when I took sips along with water it allowed me to control the color of my pee. I got it to look perfect! I took a drug test on Monday after drinking a gallon of water and a little bit of Omni for color purposes and testing myself at home 2 times - got the faint line both times. I got to Quest at 2:30 pm Monday, today is Friday and I have not heard anything about my results. Quest will not provide them to me since I didn't pay for the test. I asked my prospective employer if I was all set on Tuesday and they said my background check is still running. I asked if they received the results from drug test and they said nothing back. I am still scheduled to start in a week. Today is day 10 clean, I stopped drinking gallons of water and returned to my regular life style of a mom and wife. I have anxiety and vaping helped me cope with it. I would like to take a hit, but I am afraid that I tested positive and will be asked to retest. What are the chances that I passed my home tests with a faint line 2 days in a row but failed the lab test?

    Because of the way thc metabolites are released in to the system there is a possibility that you can pass one day and fail the next. The good/bad news is that if you did fail your test, they aren’t going to send you for a retest. The company has the option to allow a second test, but that just means a lab test of your first sample and would be at your expense. Honestly though, if you failed they are just going to withdraw their offer of employment. They have already spent time and money on a failed candidate, and it isn’t in their interest to waste more.

    So hit the vape if you want, because unless you have a second job lined up you likely will not have another test. Next time, if there is any question on ability to pass, just sub.

    What if I passed the home test 2 times and got a faint line both times right before I went in for the lab test?
