pre-employment 'drug screening' with hair test

So, here's my situation. I am a very recreational marijuana smoker. Typically, I smoke once a week. Though, as I began my search for a new job, I realized I should abstain for a while to pass any urine tests, I gave myself nearly two months of no marijuana
before I went in for my first drug test, but when I went to the clinic for the test, instead of a cup, the nurse pulled out scissors and wanted my hair.

I was kind of shocked I knew I'd piss cleaner than a bar of soap, but I know less about hair testing, other than it can test for periods much longer than urine testing, and when she asked for my armpit hair, I didn't think anything of it. Now I have read that body hair grows much slower and can show history for up to a year, and I feel silly for not insisting that she take hair from my head.

Anyways, I smoked three times in feburary, and 5 times in January, think maybe two or three times in december. test was taken today, I have not smoked since feb 15th.

So, any guesses at what my odds are at passing this test anyways?

I've read that hair testing isn't as sensitive to marijuana (which btw, they definitley tested for) =]

Both are true, however, they only test the last 1.5inches which is approximately 90days of hair.. Except they took my armpit hair, so I'm thinking it may be different.

I'm just thinking, with how little I smoke, and the nearly two months of not smoking at all before the test, I might pass anyways.


Does anyone know how sensitive hair testing is? \t\t
