So I’m fairly new to measuring ppm’s my question is this. I’m growing in soil should I run plain ph’d water and test the run off before I feed so I know exactly where I want my solution to be? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I would rather do a slurry test than that, but either way if you stay within reasonable range your plants will be fine. what stage are you in
can you post a picture? Depending on the soil you use, container size, etc you usually dont have to feed much or at all in veg. If you do I would stay within 200 to 400ppm and in early flower I stay within 400 to 600 and later flower between 500 and 1000 ppm. But all lf this depends a lot on nutrient line, strain, soil, container size, lights, environment....lots of factors.
