ppm problems

  1. Hey, i posted a thread a couple days ago, and it was for my plants i'm growing right now, its the blueberry strain. now my question is the ppm's in my resovoir is 1150. everyone is telling me thats way to high. (my plants are just over 2 weeks old. check out the pics) i followed the instructions on back of nutrient bottles, (im using liquid earth brand) and it says "mild for seedlings, cuttings, etc." 5ml/gal of vigor and grow, did that got about 700ppm at first the plants seemed to be growing really fast, but then is seemed like they needed more, so i upped the nuts, and it said for med strength for faster vegatative growth to use 7.5 ml/gal of vigor, and 10ml/gal of grow did that, and also added .5ml/gal of additive called supernova. i also added 10ml/gal of hydroguard, to keep algea from growing in there. all said and done, i got a 1280ppm reading and then a day later it had fallen to 1150 which is what it is now. my plants don't seem to be getting burnt, but this is my first hydro grow, so i'm open to anyone who will tell me otherwise. but today i tested the water at each stage... here it is. used one gallon of tap water. started at 245ppm, then added 10ml of hydroguard and tested 253 ppm, then added 7.5ml of vigor,(base nutrients, liquid earth brand) jumped way up to 683ppm, next i added 10ml grow and it jumped to 952 ppm, added acid to bring ph to about 5.8/5.9 and it only went up to 959ppm, and finally added .5ml of super nova additive. with a grand total of 963 ppm. i don't know how the hell the last mixture got up to 1280 because i mixed it the exact same as i just explained, just times 12 cuz i put 12 gallons in my resovoir. anyways i really could use some more advice on this topic. am crossing my fingers that my plants turn out ok.
