What’s up everyone. I’m stumped and need some advice. So I started with roots organic soil and I’ve been using their nutrient line. I’m at week 9 right now and I started flushing them with distilled water. I just got a Ppm meter the other day and I’ve been experimenting. Tap water came out to 180-200ppm with a 7.4ph And so then I added my ph down liquid and the ppm skyrockets to 3000. Wtf!? I’ve been dealing with nutrient issues ever since I switched to 12/12. It’s some sort of lockout or something. I thought it was my tap water but now it seems to me that it’s something with my ph liquid. I don’t see how my plants are alive if I’ve been giving them water and nutes with that ppm that high like that

Thanks for the feedback. So is my tap water okay at 200ppm or do I need to filter it? I was looking at this Hydro Logic Drinking Water Upgrade Kit for Stealth-RO Water Filter Upgrade Kits & Accessories Water Filtration & Treatment Hydroponics
