  1. I am looking for a good meter that detects ph as well. Is this a good one at a good price?

  2. thats a nice meter... hanna makes good products...

most purchase two separate meters to cross reference to make sure both are calibrated, as well as in case one burns out you have a backup... something to think about

  3. Make sure you order all FOUR solutions
    1) pH Storage Solution HI 70300M
    2) pH 4.01 calibration standard HI 7004M
    3) pH 7.01 calibration standard HI 7007M
    4) TDC / EC calibration standard HI 7031M (1413 µS/cm)

Make sure you get at least 500 ml of these solutions .. trust me you - you will need them!

Make sure your change the batteries and calibrate the unit before putting it into use.
Calibrate the pH side of the meter twice a month.
Calibrate the TDS / EC side of the meter once a month.

The best way to check a sample is to get the solution into a small container and put the meter into that.

  4. ^^^ omg nvrmnd..*marks unit off list*
thanks guys. i was looking to get something like this but just didnt realize...
