You have a basement, Sis? Dayum!!! I would be growing like all get out if I had a basement. I would be growing Northern Lights #5, Afghani, Garlic Cookies, Blueberry, and Mowie Wowie.

 

I used to play in a basement when I was a kid. We had a dartboard too.

 

Thank your lucky stars that you can do that. I'm realizing that for people to do that they have to own their own home. And I could have been there too if I had just chilled out and sat back and thought. Instead, I panicked. And when I do that I end up making major mistakes. So, I'm going to take it slow right now and weigh my options. But the full options won't become available until my 5 years are up and I don't know if I can stand to be here that long. It seems every day when my granddaughter comes home from school, there is a fight walking in the door. I just can't stand it. And when her mom gets home, there's another fight waiting to happen.

This is a TV thread no? It's hard to remember sometimes with all the de-rails, but that's where all the good stuff happens.

 

I watched that show that has a blue-million spin-off, CSIN. I think. I really like the true crime documentaries. There is one that is based on a true story about a town that killed the town bully and they didn't turn in who did it. I know for a fact what it is like to go to school every day and have to face the school bully because for some reason they decided to pick on you for that year. By the time I was in my junior year of high school, I went on Christmas vacation and never went back just because I asked my parents for help in the 7th grade because a girl that I thought was my friend, became my bully, and my parents would NOT help me! I went on Christmas vacation in my junior year of high school and never went back. I got married in December of 1980 and my senior class graduated Spring of 1981. If only my mom knew why I got married, I don't know, my life would have turned out differently I know. But what I don't know is.....would have it been for the better or the worse?
The book is called In Broad Daylight by Harry N. Maclean December 2006 paperback version. I'm fixing to sell my books including my Stephen King collection. So if there is a first edition, the first printing of one of his novels, let me know and I will see if I have it. I have most of his pre-The Girl Who Loved Tom Gorden books. In other worlds his early works.
