Potentially harmful chemicals in water used for bongs?

it makes sense but we use tap water for everthing so i doubt its bad, if ur really that worried use bottled water

But really, if you have glass try and use filtered or bottled water, for after a while of tap water it will create hard water stains, which will cone out. But if your that concerned, why not avoid them, and not use tap.

This is actually very true. city water pumps fluoride and chlorine into the water to make it safe to drink. Because it gets pumped threw pipes all over the freaking place so they have to kill the bacteria

use bottled water or filtered water if your worried about this.

i have well water. Its filled with iron/rust. If you boil it, it will turn red. But I dont think Its harming me in anyway. But I do notice it stains my bong and turns redish after a night of smoking.

Come to think of it. Im going to start using gallon water.

 

Maybe some chlorine attached to the smoke? Idk about the props of chems and whatnot, but you could investigate into that.

Buy a PUR water filter and use that if you're paranoid about the water. They don't cost too much.

Tap water varies from city to city, and based on the city, your tap could be contaminated with a lot of shit. The water processing plants eliminate a lot of crap, but not a lot of chems.

Investigate Frontline, NOVA, and any other good sources about tap water, water pollution, and pollution in general.
