so i dont see anyone talking about what stuff you do to be polite to the people you are chilling with. for example i have come up with a few here. i have a few others but forget them at this moment but it will come back. please ad what you like and i will add it all to the list i have and then post it all together when its pretty big and then hopefully it will become a sticky. a fairly interesting sticky. so yeah go for it. Pot Etiquette Rules to abide by when smoking the refer. 1 When smoking with at least one other person, always pass the piece with the mouthend facing the next recipient, and the fire end facing you. or just set it down in the same manner. 2 When smoking with some people that didnt throw down for that stuff you are smoking, just dont give them the pleasure of loading the bowl and dont let them hit greens. 3 When selling to a minor, which you shouldnt do anyways, always make them smoke you out before they leave. 4 When dealing with the "puff puff pass" thing, the only time it is appropiate is when the cherry is still hot. never relight.
i only got 4 rules 1. 2 times and pass (one if it's a roach) 2. don't slob on the blunt/joint/piece 3. don't drop the blunt/joint, expecially if it's a pipe or bong 4. the person who bought the weed gets first hits, gets to light the blunt, or get duce if he didn't roll the blunt
1. dont ever spill, bong/bubbler water 2. if your with friends at your house smokeing, try to have drinkable water, and some kind of small snack. 3. never leave with some one elses lighter, unless you ask if you can have/borrow it. 4. if your with people who are smokeing for their first time, help them. if your really feeling generous, smoke em out. i was smoked out my first time, and i really apreciate my friends for it. 5. have fun, and get high!
I disagree here...if you're buying a sack, why do you need to smoke out your dealer unless you're friends and you'd wanna do it anyway? I mean, they're already getting your hard-earned money. Most people who sell usually take an eighth or more for themselves and just absorb the loss...they sell so they can make mad money and smoke for free, so why put a dent in your bag right off the bat? Some etiquette rules I like... 1) Ask everyone in the room if they want to get in on a bowl, regardless of whether they're holding or not. If they're really your friend, they'll return the favor down the line. 2) Stay off your cell phone when you're with your friends. If you've got people you'd rather be hanging with, then get out. You're with your friends and you don't need to be typing text messages all night. 3) Don't invite random people without checking with your main group. I hate it when my friends randomly invite someone I don't know. It makes the session awkward and adds an unnecessary amount of heads. 4) Always give a warning if the bowl is kicked or about to be kicked. I'll always call someone on it if they hand me a bowl that's just ashes, have the courtesy to say something or dump the bowl yourself. I'm neither a psychic nor a butler. 5) If you've helped someone find a connect, don't ask to pinch out of their bag for the effort. The person should have enough respect to offer to pack a bowl for the two of you, but taking a nug for your head later is a little greedy.

i think you didnt get what i was trying to say. i will try to break it down without getting this decent thread knocked out. say im a "Local Merchant", right, and little bobby down the street, is a good kid, about 16, he calls and asks to use his legal tender to trade for a certain quantity of a certain product, then because you know he is under 18 you agree to the trade, but you get this young friend of yours to stay and chill for a bit and in the mean time he will want to inhale the fumes of this product he has just recently received. im not saying use some of your own personal supply, im saying have them pull out the stuff you just gave to him and make him load a bowl.
My biggest pet peve right here: Don't call your position in rotation, just form a circle and if you're last accept the fact that a couple people might get one more hit than you do. When getting into the circle don't push people out of the way so you can stand to the left of the person who rolled the blunt.
The way dealers always did it with me when I was younger is they would load up a bowl and smoke it with me before they even sold me a sack.
now im not opposed to either left or right but lets make it official as to the direction of flow. i like left, 60% of the time i go left every time. how about: if you get up to take a piss or get a drink or whatever, you officially lose your spot in the rotation, and forfeit your seat and some one else can be more comfortable at your expense. if you want to get back in you must find an empty seat and suffer the conciquences. if you feel the need to smoke a cigarette, please ask the owner of the home if its ok to smoke inside or if he would prefer that to be done outside. just cuz you are smoking the refer doesnt mean he wants the smell of chemical tobacco all over. Pot smoke is much easier to hide than tobacco smoke. just a little febreeze and some nag champa incense and you are good to go. if you are always chilling at some guys place, he may not mind your constant company but he may mind always smoking you out. so you should always be prepared to help put out for a dub sack or have some shit of your own to toss into that fat blunt he makes. or bring a couple brews over.
I don't believe in this rules bullshit. I think it's boarder-line elitism and enforces bad stereotypes. Generally I follow 90% of the rules people mention. I'm one of the chillest guys you'll ever smoke with, but I don't follow some unwritten code of ethics. I'm just compassion and courteous to my fellow tokers -- if you don't like somebody about the way I smoke, then don't smoke with me.
damn straight! i used to go throught this one chick because she was getting super dank buds for a while and everytime that dumb bitch took a fucking NUG out of my fucking sack!!! and then got burnt when i told her to back off my sack cause i already smoked her out my etiquette is 1) weed supplier gets greens and the person who supplied the peice gets seconds. 2) no lighter pocketing 3) person who got cashed hit usually gets greens or seconds 4) if its a pitch in sack then what ever is left after smoking gets divided up 5) no peice dropping 6) no lieing about your high level just to smoke more weed

OH MAN!!! this pisses me off every single time! The 4 people I smoke with the most regularly call shit EVERY SINGLE TIME we smoke. it'd be one thing if they didn't call their spots all the way down the line, but they do. i've actually heard the words, "I'm 4th!" on more than one occasion. just stfu, stand in a circle, and take your hit when you're given it. I used to complain, but now i get smoked out almost on the daily, because i gave my friend my connect, so it works out. but seriously, spread the greens around! we're not driving across the country, you don't need to call your spot.

I understood it the first time around. I'm looking at it from the perspective of the buyer. You've already handed over, let's say, $40 for an eighth. If my dealer asked me to smoke him up and I hadn't been planning on it...I'd be like "Fuck that". I paid for the product, now it's mine to enjoy. If the dealer wanted to match on something, that'd be cool, but I wouldn't want him or her to expect me to pack a bowl like it's the least I could do. I don't make a sandwich for the girl ringing up my groceries, and I don't pack freebies unless it's a matching situation. And I don't know what this whole deal about selling to minors is all about. I know I was smoking before I was 18. How are you gonna try to regulate the age at which you can be sold an illegal product?
well i guess i see your side. but thats why i said to minors only. and im not regulating anything either. i started when i was like 14 or 15, so yeah i know its hard for a kid to get that shit anyways but then you also have to look at the idea of lets say you get caught in some way or another, like the kid gets caught with the shit at school and then says where he got it cuz they said theyd go easy on him if he rats you out. like a bitch. but then they get you on selling to a minor. thats a felony in some states. but still major consequences. so its like just letting them know a little that you are cool with selling just wanna be cool with them not snitching. and yeah build a base with the minor too make sure he goes through you only. thats all i wanna say i dont wanna over step the boundary of talking about some shit i shouldnt. but yeah seems this thread is slowing down so i will gather the shit and put it in one topic and then maybe they sticky it. i think they are pretty good things to think about when you are chillin and just trying to be a nice guy by following the code of ethics or whatever it is.
