Pot brownies? Amount of weed? and extraction techniques?

  1. Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and forums in general so if I've posted this in the wrong section or violated some rule I apologize in advance.

    this is my first ever I wanna make a batch of pot brownies using the basic box mix for 28 pieces or so and am wondering how much herb i should use and what type; bud, leaf etc.

    and followed the recipe precisely last time only using 4 grams of bud and it worked fairly well but required about 3 or 4 doses to get the full effects, and i think I may have burned the oil as I was using a campstove with a shitty knob in my shed to avoid stinking up the house..

    pretty much i need help with knowing
    -what amounts and of what type of weed to use?
    -how to properly extract the thc?
    -should i use butter or oil ( the site says oil is easier )?
    -how can i tell when the oil is burning? and when its done?

    also what was your best brownie experience?
    how long have you ever lasted on a brownie high?
     
  2. when me and my friends make brownies we use some mids, you dont want to spend top dollar for some nice shit and waste it for brownies, as for the oil you just want to make sure its hot, DO NOT LET IT BOIL, this will ruin the oil and make it smell worse, so get your oil nice and hot and drop in the weed you'll need about an oz depending on how much oil you want, for the oil use canola get the 48 oz size one, once the pot is in the oil you need to mix it up every 10 minutes for about 1.5-2 hours, once that is over you take your pot oil mixture and strain it then mix with brownie mix and then go get crazy stoned
     
  3. the choice between oil and butter, i refer butter for many reasons but mainly because you can put it on about everything, to make it you need a double boiler or just a pot over another pot with boiling water underneath it, for the materials you need some sort of cloth strainer, butter, and pot, melt the butter, depending on how strong or how much you want you can change the amount of butter or the amount of pot, i normally use 4 sticks to three quarters or an ounce of weed, again use mids not high quality stuff, to make it melt the butter in the boiler until it starts to well, melt, then add the weed, keep the butter hot, make sure you do not brown the butter, it will make it taste like garbage, stir it every 4-6 minutes for about 20-25 minutes after you take you strainer place it over a bowl and our your mixture in the strainer, keep the pot in the strainer, after its cool pick up the strainer and then squeeze out whats left in the mixture, let it cool, and then spread it or cook brownies with it, thats all there is to it, hope that was helpful

  5. The more weed you put in the brownies, the higher you get from eating less. I would put around a quarter for the whole mix.
