Here's a great idea from the Norml stash - postcards are easier and more effective to send to legislators than email. Postcards are cheap, and because they're small you don't have to think up much to say. And because they physically arrive at the legislator's office and everything's written on the back where it's easy to read, there's a good chance several people will read them, and maybe even the senator or representative him/herself. You can get your legislators physical mailing address here: Contact Officials - NORML - just put in your zip, click on their name and goto "contact".
Ive written numerous letters to my Representatives via email, and always get a personalized letter in the snail mail regarding the issues as a response Good idea though
