I'm pretty old school. Started in the early 80's. Quit for a number of years, and well, now I am back at it. I have what I call my ghetto grow, which is basically some metal shelves, cardboard, mylar, and moving blankets for insulation in a 3x3x6 Grow area. What I grow with as far as medium can vary, but my favorite is 40% Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 40 to 50% coco, and the rest perilite and vermiculite. For nutrition I use tap water, Espoma Liquid Grow, and Liquid Bloom, along with any other natural ingredients I may need. Like Epsom Salt, Organic Molasses, for those deficiencies that can show up. I plant in cups and move to smart pots or generic alternative. Pests and other issues are handled organically. I'm currently just beginning week 5 of flower, and last week found my timer not shutting off when it was supposed to for almost a week. Still things seem to be okay. Here are a few shots I took today.
No-till and/or recycled organic soil. I want my plants to be showing signs of some senescence (fade) by harvest time. Seems to offer the smoothest smoking and flavor profiles in my experience. BBB #1 day 77 time for harvest DDT (D) X BBB day 71 also about ready for harvest. Smells of delicious mango fruit, and some sweet berry.
