    Zoltan
Kangal 185lbs... Look at the muscles on this huge specimen of a dog. Known to chase wolves down, and kill them. 743lbs bite force. National dog of Turkey, and illegal to export.

YES, he can easily jump the fence, but wont. He would if you are breaking in the house or teasing him though. 7 feet 2 inches from tip of nose, to the ground. 35 inches tall at shoulder. Few would want to tease such a beast, with such a low fence. He also stays inside mostly. This dog needs a lot of time for training as they can be very stubborn, and independent.

Bubby, our rescue. I found him almost 3 years ago in the side yard. Freezung rain,,,,,, and he was drenched, and half frozen.

    He the alarm dog.

When he alerts, all of the others alert to back him up. Hes got ears like a rat, and hears everything.

  17. They also live a long time for a huge breed.

12-15 years. He eats like a horse too.

He eats a gruel type hig carbs/Grain mix I make myself.

Its been shown that Kangals fed a Western Dog Diet do not grow as large vs feeding them high carb/Grain food that they have been eating for 3000 years. They can be 15% smaller on a normal dog food diet.
They also can get abnormal bone growth if given to much protein during their growth period, which is common in most Giant Breeds.
