Possible spider mites on curing bud

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by punkshorty27, Oct 3, 2012.

  1. I recently found some bud plants in the woods near my house and harvested them, i dried them in my attic for 2 days with a fan. After that i trimmed em well and stuck the buds in a jar for curing. I opened it for 20 min the first 3 days, then i started to notice small webs on some of the buds drying, at first i thought it was mold so left it out in a pan with a fan on it for 2 hours, then i put it back in jar. When i got home today to burp my jar there were a bunch more webs on them. Not sure what to do about it, I'm pretty sure its not mold but i haven't seen any of the mites.

    Long story short
    -Found plants in woods
    -Harvested
-Dried in attic for 2 days
-Trimmed and put in jar to cure
    -Started noticing webs on plants
-More and more webs appearing on buds

    Suggestions please and thank you

  2. You should not have taken what wasn't yours. The problem is karma.

  3. I agree with you ^^^ i wasn't the one who actually took it, my friend did and he didn't have a place to dry and cure it so i volunteered because he said he would give me a bunch
