Hey im a stealth smoker and ive read a lot about growing but never attempted. Still live with my mom who doesnt know smoke, but i was wondering if it would be possible to grow like 1 plant in my room and keep it nice and quite/ hidden? has anyone else attempted this? sugguestions? or say fuck it.
yes its possible, the only thing you really have to keep in check is the smell. which can get out of hand very easily
any tricks on how to do this? i know you have to keep humidity in check, temperature, and light, also nutrients and such. i cant really run a vent out my wall though :/
While I would never condone growing without your parents knowledge due to the liability, Go over to the micro grow section. You could do a Lowryder in a PC case with a couple cfl's and get some decent smoke in 70 days.
Buy a filing cabinet.or a mini fridge. Set it up so that it does'nt provide a fire hazard,use common sense. Veg your plant for no more than 2 weeks,or it will outgrow your space. And then,follow the internet's intructions on how to grow weed
what do you mean veg your plant? never heard that term before? do you mean make it flower in two weeks?
That's exactly what I mean,because whatever size your plant is when you first start 12/12, it will grow twice as big when it flowers. So if you have say a 3 foot tall container,it's best you flower your plant when it's about half that size,even then it might outgrow your space.
Ok i might grow in my barn (mom rarely goes out there and it has a loft) problem there it temperature though? any suggestions for this idea? or will the lights keep it warm enough?
Well seeing as you're a beginner. Temperature will be a problem because you'll have no idea how to regulate it let alone do it stealthily. I'm going to take a wild guess and say you don't have much to spend. So keeping it as simple as possible is best,as long as you can keep the container in relatively 75-85 degrees it should be fine.
Correct. im just trying to get ideas. my brother has some old lights stored in the garage i can use and he wont know. they are the legit growing lights too.
No i'd say stay away from high wattage lights as well. For a single plant you can use CFL's,they're cheap and they WORK. Also they don't get hot at all so it won't get too hot inside your growing space. Not to mention they use almost no electricity and your mom won't see any difference in the bill.
Can someone recomend what kind of light i would want for this small of a grow. like a link to what to buy would be nice. also how long it it going to take from start to finish? any way i can cut my cycle down and make it ready to smoke sooner? How do i keep my plant small? (specifics?) cuz if it gets too big, im fucked and wasted time and money. lol
Say fuck it. Hey man growing in your parents house without thier permission is defintaly not a good idea. Unless your mother is completely clueless and you do everything right, which is highly unlikely on your first few grows, you will get found out. Smell can be a huge problem very quickly so you would need a carbon filter and fan system to keep the odor down. And just having one plant greatly increases the probability that something will go wrong and wipe out your entire 1 plant crop. Sorry dude don't mean to be a kill joy but there is a time and place for everything and it doesn't sound like its either right now.

If you REALLY want to grow stealth-like, check out the micro grow section. You can grow literally anywhere. There is even a thread where a guy grew a plant in an amp can. Yes, an amp energy drink can. Seriously, check it out. It will open your eyes to a whole new world of growing.
