Alright so i recently bought a toro circulator ashcatcher for my roor and was thinking how sick they are when theyre clear so i thought about a possible alcohol bath that we could have and just always keep our glass in there that way it would always stay crystal clear, is there any downside to that? could it possibly eat at my glass over long periods of time? has anyone else done this? lemme know what you guys think, thanks gc
you mean just fill a bucket full of iso and let the bong just sit in there? sounds pointless. just clean it every other day. or once a week. no need to keep it constantly soaked.
I do this with my slides. I keep a cup filled with iso and I just toss them in there after I'm done smoking...all you have to do is give them a quick rinse in the sink to get them crystal clear again after that. I've thought about doing it with my bongs too, but you'd need a LOT of ISO. Still, it's something I'd like to set up eventually. I clean my peces almost every time I smoke so it'd be very convenient.
well yeah not a full bong but i mean atleast my circulator, slide and downstem. do the labels come off though?
honestly the best way to keep these clean is to get some long pipe cleaners and some iso, and just pour a little iso into the ashcatcher, shake it around, and then dip the pipe cleaners in iso and scrape off all the resin. or grunge off.
