possible box build

    I was thinking of doing a box grow, this is my first time and i want it to be somewhat stealth. I was going to make the box 2x2x4. I am not sure what type of lighting to use for this size of an area. the next question i have is what would be the best growing strategy and how many plants to use in this sort of a space. Everything here is currently just an idea and is subject to change.

    Let me know what ideas you have to make this as productive a setup as possible +rep for those who post

    CFL for grow box, not much heat; HPS alot of heat. This is my second grow and I use a box, I recommend LST and topping.

    thanks for the help man. this will be my first experience growing and since i will most likely be spending a good amount of money i would like to do the proccess right. also is there any reccomendation on the box size for better output?

    Very similar dimensions to my op, I have 2.5x2.5x4. I recommend a 400w digital ballast with MH bulb for veg and HPS for flower. Get a cool tube or air-cooled hood, and make at least one of the sides 2.5' rather than 2' to be able to fit the tube/hood and venting on both sides.

    Exhaust at least 6" out the top. My intakes are in the floor, you could put your on the bottom or low down on the sides.

    You can squeeze 4 plants into there if you use big plastic kitty litter bins. They hold 5 gallons and are relatively tall and narrow, so they have a big root volume in a small footprint. And being rectangular, they don't waste any space under the light. Get 2 buckets per plant, an inner and an outer. For the inner bucket drill holes in the bottom for drainage and holes around the top edge for LST anchor points, then wrap the sides in duct tape to block light. When you water the plants, each inner bucket will drain to the outer bucket for easy handling/clean-up.

    toasty would you be able to think of a way to drop the price down without sacrificing too much? i dont have several hundred to drop at the start of this, since it is my first time growing
