so ive been smoking for a while now and smoked all day everyday took dabs smoked cigarettes everything. i never ever had an issue. until summertime around 5 months ago i was sharing a bong with my very sick friend who asked me if i wanted to smoke since he was sick and i just said "yeah i dont care i never get sick". i came down with mono the next day and had vomiting, wasnt able to swallow anything including my own saliva, and fever. when i started to feel better i tried smoking and every single time since for the past 5 months my throat gives off a drash burning sensation that really doesnt allow me to smoke. i take 2 hits and i cant finish the bowl because the pain is so bad. i have to exhale asap for the pain to go away and it takes a few minutes. i tried quitting , quitting for 2 weeks before smoking realized it was the same and quit another month and a half and smoked and it was the exact same feeling. thing is, it doesnt matter what weed it is, or what i smoke out of, or how i smoke, anything i smoke weed even through a vape the inner part of the throat burns very very bad and causes huge pain. its as if i cant taste weed like i used to where i could tell the difference now it all tastes like dry burning leaves. ive seen many doctors and they just confirm i have acid reflux postnasal drip and chronic rhnitis- all signs of allergies. i realized yesterday when i tried hotboxing anytime i breathed through my nose my nose was burning and anytime my eyes were in contact with the smoke in my car my eyes didnt get watery or red but they burned as well. Anyways, any thoughts on this ? could it be possible that 1 day i got sick from my friend scarred me for life and im forever now allergic to the pollen ? Note this, i can smoke cigarettes and hookah with no trouble whatsoever.........
