As far as songs...well, I could recommend some albums...: -Fear of a Blank Planet -Nil Recurring -In Absentia -Deadwing -The Incident Enough albums for now ^^ Normal [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHPIJPzYYmw&feature=related]YouTube - porcupine tree normal[/ame] The creator has a mastertape [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gULrL3mE2Qc]YouTube - Porcupine Tree - The Creator Has A Mastertape[/ame]
Thanks..I am def gonna check those albums out My friend recently told me that Steve, One of the guitarists from Opeth, and Mike P.(formerly of dream theater) are gonna make an album
Cool stuff. By the way if you are a Opeth fan, you should know Steven Wilson actually produced both Deliverance and Damnation with Mikael Akerfeldt. Just sayin' Mellotron scratch (the end is above epic) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_pLFNxqEcM]YouTube - Porcupine Tree - Mellotron Scratch[/ame]
Im more of an urban music head so Im not too up to date with alot of these bands..I did not no that but you learn something new everyday I suppose... But thanks for all the cool music I can't wait to get baked and listen all night long
I've only really listened to In Absentia and Fear of a Blank Planet, I like those 2 albums but I'm kinda in the middle on the band based on those albums as well, cause Porcupine Tree can be brilliant on one song and then dull on the next. Fantastic musicianship and all that of course, I also like the whole atmosphere of Fear, its got a real spacey feel to it.
Yeah Iv'e noticed that aswell while listening to the albums...Ingenious music one song than the next is meh..average at best...but alot of artists are like that..i think PT has WAYYYY more good stuff than bad stuff tho...so i don't see it as a huge problem
