i had a thread about that sometime last year. basically the answers said that it'd take way too much room to grow enough poppies (indoors, anyhow) to make enough O even for personal use. i've never harvested O, so idk how many it'll take. what i did do though, was to scatter a couple thousand poppy seeds in a nearby field. i check on it every few days to see how they're coming along. i'll also get a chance once the leaves drop and expose the pod to see how much of the O comes out of one pod. and these things spread like wildfire, so i know next year there will undoubtedly be enough to keep me RELAXED.
Yeah, I think the best bet is quantity over quality. I will probably wait until fall or late winter and toss some seeds here in the Ozarks. Thanks for the reply.
