Poorly plants

  1. Hi All

    Posting for a friend..

Few plants that were got as seedlings. Two weeks on, three are growing well with good roots, and a couple are stunted with very little root growth. Been using Biobizz grow and pottted in all-mix. Used root juice for the first week also.

    1m x 1m x 1.6m tent
    400wHPS
    PH - 6.2-6.7
    Temp - 24-26 celcius

The smaller plants have lighter leaves and have some yellowing, which started at the bottom. Put this down to a slight N deficiency and have adjusted and the new leaves seem good, and hopefully the roots will grow now too.

The bigger plants have recently shown lighter spots and browning within those spots. Any ideas?

They have all been treated exactly the same and in the same environment so its a bit odd? Some also have three leaves and some five?

Will post pics when I work out how!

  2. First and second images should be one of the 'good' plants - had some historic 'burning' on it when they were picked up.
Third and fourth pics are the believed N deficiency - nutes adjust slightly and they seem good now.
Fifth pic is one that also had some burns when collected and seems a lot better in my care, but has some lighter green patches appearing on leaves.

As mentioned - they were all getting the same light, good PH, nutes, good temp, etc.
    Humidity was between 40-60%

  3. I would transplant and use lots of perlite. Roots will struggle to get air and grow

  4. Thanks - transplant all?
I understand that would help the root growth, but could that be causing the other issues too? Cheers
