Well, after tweaking the room and running a coupla test grows with unknown genetics, shitty water...and having to throw out the males, I finally started a grow that I'm hoping will yield well. Specs... Approx 10' by 10' room 1000 watt mh for veg 1000 watt hps for flower FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil SunSystems ventilated hood. Hurricane 6" inline fan Finally found some tasty looking strains at Nirvana Seeds...sent 'em some money, and here we go! 5 Afghani Indica, 5 Kaya Gold and 5 Papaya...feminized. I'm happy to see how consistent the strains look, ease of growth and just plain pretty! Just before transplant. Just after transplant they were set to the the walls and corners of the room, basically on the 'fringe' of the light while they were adjusting. After a couple days I arranged them all under the light. A close-up. Another angle. I'll keep this thread updated with pics of their progress.
Thanx you guys! They're growing nicely, and I'm happy to see what you get, when you invest in quality genetics! After near a week, and out of any slightly noticeable transplant shock, I gave them their first watering and noticed a nice little grow spurt.
Well...it's been a few weeks, and it's definitely the prettiest grow I've ever done! All 15 are just rockin' their pots and the four Kaya Gold seem to want to go tall! The four tall ones may get tied down, or we might transplant into a ten gallon pot and bring them outside if the rain ever quits around here! They'll all get a watering tonight or probably in the morning. Most pots felt a tad light. Humidity is a bit high at 73rh because of the rain...70 is nice for a temp, and they seem to really like their surroundings. Looking forward to flowering!
Thanx Sacha dune! I can't believe I failed to note the flower date! I may have it written it down somewhere, but l'say the end of May. I sure have seen lots of progress in 2 1/2 weeks! What is awesome...is they're all females! It's so nice not to have to give up half a crop to males. The four in the back, Kaya Gold I believe, have just shot up to the sky! After taking these pics I tied one down some more, and tied down the surrounding branches of one that got accidentally topped. It IS a bit crowded in there, but we're still counting on a nice yield for this grow.
BTW...my next post should be especially easy on the eyes, I got a new Canon for this grow! Just gotta learn how to use it now!

Okey dokey...here's a quick update at about 3 1/2 weeks into flower. I sure like my new Canon. It's very easy to use. Two of the fifteen are yellowing some...I may use a trace amount of bloom fert. I'm really happy with the look of them, and they're just starting to develop their trichomes. The smell of all fifteen in there is awesome! I think we'll see some real magic in there in the next coupla weeks!
