I am looking for an answer that i cant find anywhere else, i am in the process of making a water pipe from polymer clay, my question is if i am not touching or heating the clay its self is it still ok to breath the smoke through it? i have herd that the clay is toxic but is breathing from it without heating it going to hurt anyone? i would be using a diffrent metal bowl so i wont be burning it. plz help cant seem to find any answers.
I wouldn't do it, the water is going to absorb some of the clay material in it and then you're inhaling that water vapor.
Better avoid showering at any costs, as well. Wouldn't wanna inhale any water vapor oh noes!!! Oh and fog, if you live in San Francisco you're probably already dead. Water vapor doesn't hurt anybody unless it's a LOT of it. Personally, I wouldn't smoke through a pipe made of Mighty Putty, but it has fixed some of my broken glass
