Pollen

    Recently bought pollen, it was in a resin form.
    Is this normal?
    And what exactly is pollen?

    It's a misnomer many tokers use for what is really Kief.

    Kief is Trichomes.

    Yeah if you bough pollen then you got ripped off.

    But if you bought kief/hash then its all good.

    Years ago I was in a LHS and asked about a Kief box, the LHS employee said , "oh, you mean a pollen box".

    I forgot kief was a "no no" word in headshops.;)

    OP, can you take a picture of this "resin"? Because kief has more of a sand-like texture, unless it's pressed, but it still won't be in a resin form.

    All kief is in resin form, since kief comes from the resin glands primarily.
