Poll: Who has a tattoo and regrets it?

  1. I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo. I'm just not 100% confident yet that I want one. I mean I do I just feel as if I might regret it and that's why I'm holding back. Who all out there has tattoos and regrets/doesn't regret getting one or several?

  2. I know I'm not really answering your question but I would like to say if you are thinking you may regret it maybe put it someplace that would be easily concealable. O and to answer your poll I'm getting one soon as soon as I get the balls to deal with the needle. Lol

  3. Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing. But I want it on my forearm. I think once I get it I won't regret it. Like who gives a shit. Tattoos are fucking awesome.

  4. Mind if I ask what your planing on getting? I'm planning on getting a red and black hatchet man on my upper arm with room to maybe as some stuff around it later.

  5. i never wanted a tatoo because that is one way i can be id'd. i dont want the goverment or anyone else to have any easy way to know who i am if i am in that situation.

  6. I have loads, more ink than skin for a long time now.

To be honest, I forget I have them. I just see it as my skin, and I have no regrets at all. I remember getting my first one and being like you are now, terrified by the word "permanent".

I cannot guarantee you will not regret it, but for me the only thing about tattoo's that I regret is the fact i'm running out of room to get more.

  7. I'm thinking of getting three pencil thing lines on my forearm. But they go around. So like a ring around them if you get what i'm saying. It'd just represent simplicity in my life cause i've always been a simple man and I think the tattoo itself is pretty simple.

That sounds cool though man! Yeah you could always turn that into a sleeve and whatnot.

  8. I've got a full sleeve from my wrist upto the base of my neck and chest and i don't regret it one bit.

  9. I knew a guy that had his face tattooed to look kinda like a skull he had like bones on his cheeks and shit. Looked wired when he went to his daughters middle school choirs concert. Something like that I bet he regrets.

  10. That's awesome man. Tattoos are so artistic and cool I love how unique they are from person to person. But what you said gave me some reassurance. I'm not personally into the sleeves look, I think it looks awesome on some people but not myself. So I'm thinking just a few simple tattoos to start with won't be too extreme in the rare occasion of me regretting it.

  11. Have a look at your arm, spot the imperfections, scars, freckles etc. You never really notice them until you pay attention, they're just part of you.

Exactly the same thing with tattoo's, except when you look closely at them you see the beauty of something that you always carry with you, they act as reminders of who we are, where we have come from and even simply the things we enjoy.

Tattoo's are not for everyone, and i'm not going to tell people "Go out and get one it will change your life!", but for me, being reminded of how far I have come, and even the not so good times in my life, it's a sense of comfort and pride and it makes me feel like 'me'.

  12. please dont dothat , just becaus u like a band now , dont mean u are gonna like em in 30 years

  13. I'm sort of planning to get a full japanese sleeve on either one of my arms not sure which one though.

But, I plan on becoming a (fitness)model aswell so those two might not go hand in hand..

  14. If you're not familiar with the meaning behind Japanese tattoos, look into it before you decide on the work you want to get done. There's a lot of truly beautiful stories behind everything in Japanese art and it will really connect you with your ink.

As for modelling, seriously i'm not the right guy to answer that at all!

I thought about that but for me it has a lot more symbolic meaning then just the band. And if nothing else it will always be a token to remember the good times the bad times and that my first time smoking was at one of there concerts I guess for me that's what tattoos are for.

  16. lmfao. juggalo tattoos are such a joke. you really want that stupid thing on your body in ten years? hell, even five years. a kid in my town got "juggalo" across his chest and soooo many people give him shit. he said it was the dumbest thing he'd ever done.

  17. Yes I do really want it and if people want to give me crap about it I'm ok with it.

  18. to each is their own man. I personally would never get anything band related tattooed on me simply for the fact ill phase outta it in a few years, all the power to ya my man!

  19. Tbh I'll prob sway away bit by bit but like I said a post or two ago it's for me the tattoo is about the memory.

  20. yeah I see what you're saying. I'd look back at it in twenty years and be like "what the fuck was I thinking then" and get a good laugh outta it lol, I'd probably do that with any tattoo I'd get knowing me
