Depends on the context. If I’m talking about it in a medical setting or at the dispensary, “cannabis.” If I’m referring to it colloquially, then “weed.” Someone I know always calls it “reefer,” but I feel like that term is kind of outdated.
I like to say Marijuana the most...or I just call its buds lol. I really don't like to hear the word dope tho when people are talking about it. ~Toni~

I've often heard "dope" used to refer to harder drugs, especially heroin and other (semi)synthetic opioids, but never weed.
Where are you located....if you don't mind me asking. I don't hear dope much anymore.....except from my dad....but it refers to Cannabis to him and many others here in FL
Usually I'll just say weed or bud. Kush is a fun word to use even though technically should refer to specific weed strains. I don't call it dope but that reminds me of trailer park boys when I hear that so anyone using it in a negative connotation will make me laugh.
