Lets start by saying, if i am smoking all day everyday for a while, stopping is incredibly difficult do, due to many physical problems. For one, i wake up feeling very nauseous and sick, sometimes leads to puking, but im always in the bathroom for 30 min or more in the morning tryna get rid of the feeling. The only thing that helps is cold showers and drinking cold water. This feeling lingers throughout the day but not as bad as when i wake up. I cant eat anything and i feel as if i have the flu. I cant sleep at night. Im constantly nervous and easily annoyed. This all lasts 2-3 days until my body is back to normal.

I wish i could find the source but recently i heard a doctor talking about the addictive qualities of cannabis and how it is not particularly physically addictive, as its physiological. The doctor then went on to say this is becaause THC is stored in fat cells and so after you stop using, the THC lingers in your fat cells and is released slowly which keeps your body feeling fine without THC.

This got me thinking. Im very skinny, 135lb, 6 foot, 18 years old, so maybe my body isnt storing enough THC due to my lack of body fat. This might be what causes my physical withdrawal symptoms compared to the many others who experience no problems like mine other than mild discomfort and loss of appetite.

So maybe withdrawal is weight related?
Too broad of a question for a poll, but if you experience physical withdrawal, post your weight and if that weight is mostly fat or muscle (this is the internet you dont have to lie)

  2. I don't think weight has anything to do with it. Those are just the withdrawal symptoms that come with stopping heavy cannabis use. Insomnia, anorexia, and irritability. Try working out, or doing something physical to take your mind off it.

  3. No. you just metabolize the THC faster. you still do have fat on your thighs and buttocks im sure.

  4. At 135 pounds for 6' he's concidered anorexic he'd need arround 50 pounds to be at a healthy weight , so yeah he may have some fat , but it's so little that he doesn't store THC in his body at all .

I'm heavyer at 280 for 6'2'' , I got a good training so I am not obese ,but yeah I am fat ( one of the downside of being a pastry chef is the massive intake of fat , sugar and empty callories on a daily basis ) and I do store a lot of THC because of that . Because of that I try to refrain from everyday smoking , because after a while I get kind of perma-high where even if I don't smoke I still have lingering sensations wich are mostly physical ( like when eating , the high is mainly physical ) for a couple of days. I don't think it helps at all with stoping , actually it's more of a deterent on continuing for extended periods .

It's the same with edibles. Because of how much fat I store , I stay high a lot longer then my skinnier friends with edibles , wich can sometimes be an inconvenience instead of a positive point .

    TL:DR
You need to take some weight because you are unhealtily underweight but gaining said weight will probably not help you feel better on the long run when you take Tbreaks.

  5. the bigger you are the more of a tolerance you develop. but im 6' and im 150. 15 more pounds than him, and i dont workout much

edit: bigger as in more fat

  6. Idk im def not anorexic lolol but any weight i have is muscle i dont have much fat at all.
my BMI is at the low end of normal weight and i eat healthy.
my tolerance goes down pretty quick too.

    thanks guys

  7. I have this same exact thing man, I took a t break and I puked like every morning and I just feel like shit in general and annoyed easily or I'll feel like a zombie pretty much an I'm 5'10 200 pounds

I'm 23, 6'6" and around 260-280 (IDK anymore, my scale is broken :laughing). I forgot to mention I too smoke all day everyday.

I honestly think the people who feel this nausea are being hella over dramatic. I only loose my appetite for a few days, and it's hard to sleep for the first few days.

People like OP and anybody who stops smoking pot and acts like they are withdrawing from crack-cocaine are just total pussies IMO.

  9. I'm 6'3 like 160 pounds and I've never had that problem. I just get irritable.

  10. Trust me dude, Ive experienced 'other' withdrawals and while weed is easily tolerable compared to other things, it still feels like i have the stomach flu minus vomiting all day (only vomit once if at all)

Youre limited experience and ignorance doesnt qualify you to comment on behalf of other peoples experience

Plus, its likely you have zero experience with withdrawal outside of weed. unmentionables cause INSANE withdrawals. Weed is nothing like these but still, i get sick as fuck so you dont know shit lol

  11. I wouldn't call this withdrawal. Many medical cannabis patients actually use Cannabis to cover up the nausea feeling that you're talking about. If you're not using, and feel these sensations, I don't believe it's due to "withdrawal" from Cannabis. I believe it may be due to other underlying medical conditions that you may or may not be aware of. Consult your physician immediately, tell him of your nausea and other issues.

Cannabis has no inherent physical withdrawal problems. Most of the addiction is considered "mental" as to how somebody can become addicted to video games, or strip clubs.

Please see your Physician and maybe even see a Gastro-Intestinal Specialist. I hope nothing's wrong, but if something is, it's much better to catch it as early as possible.

  12. ehh nah thats a seperate problem you must have

  13. you can not have withdrawals from marijuana.

OP you really have no right to tell me if I can and can not post in your thread. You're full of yourself.

  15. This discussion has come up many many times. Marijuana gives you very minor withdrawals. Mostly mental, nothing that can't be slept off after 3-4 days, maybe keeping appetite loss for longer.

For everyone about to rage, no this isn't like alcohol or other hard drug withdrawals but they are withdrawals nonetheless.

  16. I don't know, but to me, the reason that I tend to smoke everyday is not because of wanting to be high all day everyday, it is because I live in a very rural country state in the south and it is too boring, so yes I get high sometimes because I get easily bored. I am currently taking a week off from it, and I feel excellent. It is all about self control, and I have zero side effects from it, no cravings to smoke it, no physical or mental withdrawal symptoms, as a matter of fact, I find myself able to retain and concentrate much better now than when smoking everyday. Balance is key, you wouldn't be eating the same food on every meal every day, you would get fed up from it, right? So is the same with cannabis.

  17. hey cool with me, jizz

Everyone seemed to have ignored this guy, hes got it right

  19. Didn't read anyone elses posts but I'm sure you have enough fat cells to store your thc or whatever.. haha like squirrels and nuts for the long winter

  20. I don't think you can have withdrawal symptoms like that but I think a little irritability may come your way if you just up and quit.
