I was wondering what GC's policy was about government agencies asking for information. If there is not a policy, what would GC do if a government agency sequestered GC for the IP addresses of all the members? Or is that illegal to do so? I would hope that a legal battle would ensue, if it did occur. Also, if information from the forums in GC leading to an arrest of a member, is that legal for authorities to do? I'm in the US, i'm not sure how the laws apply in other countries, but i'm sure the members from overseas would like to know as well! Thanks NS
One more thing, is there a reason that PeerGuardian, a firewall that blocks IP addresses of government/educational institutions such as the Police organizations, the RIAA, and Universities, blocks this website?
