As I watch the occupy crackdowns and casual police brutality on the Internet (the media is largely ignoring this). As I consider the SOPA, National Defense Authorization Act, dogmatic nature of the Drug War and increasing militarization of law enforcement I realize that we are living in a fascist police state. Lenin once said Fascism is Capitalism in decline.
I whole heartedly believe that Harper is turning Canada into a police state and the proof is in the crime bill. When your government ignores the people's voices and does things the way it wants to, says any other government is wrong, and focuses on penalization instead of rehabilitation thats got to fall under some form of dictatorship IMO.
