  1. the boys just flew over. Scared shitless right now. I do everything by the book and under my plant count, with my med license. I know I shouldn’t be worried but both my neighbors have recreation grows which I’m not even sure is legal in Michigan. My lawyer advised against doing one this year until actual legislation is in place. So chances are they are gonna get checked and so am I. Even though I know I’m good I just really don’t want them knocking on my door lol wish me luck.

  2. If you're following their rules, I don't think there's anything to worry about.

  4. I know but In Michigan your only allowed to have 2.5 oz dried. Which is very tough when they consider any cutting of the plant to be dried marijuana there are a lot of grey areas and it’s very hard to stay 100% almost impossible especially when the consider fan leaves as part of that weight. So it’s very stressful. It’s a labor of love if you don’t love don’t do it. Good luck with you’re Browns stay safe out there.

Requirements for growing outdoors in Michigan, legally:
Must not be visible from a public place without the use of binoculars, aircraft, or other optical aids
Must be in an enclosed area equipped with locks or other functioning security devices that restrict access to the area

Summary of law (growing indoor/outdoor and possession):
"An adult may possess up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana; up to 15 grams of marijuana may be marijuana concentrate.

Within a residence, an adult may possess up to 10 ounces of marijuana and any marijuana produced by marijuana cultivated on the premises.

An adult may grow up to 12 marijuana plants at the adult's residence for personal use.

An adult may not grow marijuana plants "if the plants are visible from a public place" or if the plants are growing outside of a secure area. A violation of this section is punishable as a civil offense with a fine not to exceed $100 and forfeiture of the marijuana.

The cultivation of up to 24 plants is a civil infraction with no incarceration and maximum $500 fine.

The cultivation of 25 - 200 plants is a felony, which is punishable by a maximum sentence of 7 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $500,000."

Welcome to the beast(anti-christ) system. I'll never agree to none of their forced system they set up nor have I ever in the past.

  12. 1 of two possibilities in my mind. 1, they were doing something else, like looking for an actual criminal and just happened to fly over your grow or 2. some busybody fucktard called in a tip saying that they smelled weed or thought they saw a plant or something. And if the latter is the case, as long as you are doing your grow within the confines of the law summarized above, I sincerely doubt that you'll have any problems.

That law sounds a lot like the law here in MA. The "Must not be visible from a public place without the use of binoculars, aircraft, or other optical aids" part is identical. Which is why I plopped my grow right in the middle of my back yard, but checked my sightlines before I started. While it is visible by the neighbors behind me, And kinda sorta one diagonally off to the side, but theyre a good 75 yards away with a bunch of vegitation in between, neither of those are "public places", but rather "private residences".. From no angle is it visible from any road or other legally defined "public place". I live on a private dirt road, so i kinda doubt that would pass as a public place anyway, but better safe than sorry.

  13. Yeah I follow everything but them being seen by aircraft is unreasonable you can’t put a roof on a grow, it wouldn’t grow very big lol I use string and just run across the top in both directions haven’t had a problem. I’m really not concerned with them checking out my grow it’s just the harvesting that scares me. I try to stay within the 2.5 ounces but that’s almost impossible and if they came on the wrong day I could be in deep shit. I appreciate all the advice and yeah I’ve smoked a couple already today lol. Best of luck to everybody, and good luck with you’re grows.

  14. With out a med card just rec, your allowed to have 10 oz in your residence, stop saying 2.5 oz.

I'm pretty sure it also alowed to carry around on your person 2 oz.

You said 20 plants though, the legal limit is 12. Please read my post above for further clarification regarding the amount you can possess

Edit: @puffnstuff1960 not sure why you would disagree when this is literally the law.

  18. Than you have nothing to worry about lol

  19. Are you sure it was a police chopper?
Did they just fly by once or twice or did they hover and do donuts over your yard?
In other words did it look like they were going somewhere, or did it look like they were rustling cattle.

Will they search your house if you have a legal grow?
If you're sure you're legal, about all you can do is keep your shit picked up and put away. They may not come aknock'n till just about harvest time. That's when they like to harvest - know what I mean?
