The guy hit the curb and a representative for TIMES UP! said that the cyclist in this video was arrested, held for 26 hours, and charged with attempted assault and resisting arrest. He was knocked to the ground just because he didnt have the required lights.

They took that cops badge and gun and now hes doing hardcore desk work while someone else does his job. He deserves it.
That's really fucked up. They have Critical Mass bike events here in San Diego, always a bunch of people drunk/stoned. Who knows, I might end up at one in the next few months.

for some reason this doesnt surprise me police brutality happens all the time, ever heard of Sean Bell who was killed on his wedding day after the NYPD pumped over 50 rounds into his car and killed him(he was unarmed and had nothing illegal on him)
There everywhere... if a civillian did that tho, they would be looking at jail time and maybe BIG settlements and shit...
