So last night my buddy texted me and said "Hey man, we're having everyone over for Texas Hold 'em, we're all betting and it starts at 8:30." I'm a decent player, but i hadn't played in awhile, so i had to brush up on the rules. I went over, it was more like a party, there were about 30 people over there, and of the 30 people, there was about 6 playing at a 10 dollar buy in. So i bought my chips and started playing, i actually ended up getting to the position where you could out bet everyone, i had won two huge pots with a bluff and a pair of kings. Then it happened. My friend sitting next to me asked if i wanted to hit a bowl of this alaskan ice he said he had, i was like "hell yeah!" It was just 3 of us smoking it, and the bowl was super deep, so i got majorly stoned, and i found myself making dumb bets, playing with nothing in my hand, and it started to go down hill. Then i ended up winning another huge pot, but i was so stoned that i started picking up my friends chips, and i didn't know how many i took because i was so stoned. My friend is an honest guy, but he saw me doing it and called me out in front of everyone, so i had to give him like half my chips. I honestly had no memory of how much chips he had, nor did anyone else, and i had no idea how much i took. I ended up losing 4 huge pots, and then 3 other hands until i finally went bust. I can honestly say that it was because i was majorly stoned.... I guess i'll win my money back another time! Anyone else lose a lot of money before playing with friends? 10 bucks wasn't bad for a 60 dollar win.
To get the benefits of being stoned from poker you have to be really really REALLY practiced up, if we ever play we wait atleast 2 hours of drinking before passing around doobies. You also have to love it because as soon as you get a little bored your mind wanders which is probably exactly what happened to you and then you just fuck yourself with bad decisions.
Never lost too much in poker.. maybe $5-10 here and there.I don't mind losing that much though because it's worth a good night On dice though I've had some losses to friends. Lost a complete skateboard once, $10-20 here and there, ect... but I've had some awesome wins too so its all cool I actually won a very sick bubbler about a month ago shooting dice. Probably my best win yet. First bubbler I've owned. I won $40 in like 5 minutes with a few bucks once too which was crazy. I guess my wins haven't been too insane though. I've seen a few friends win/lose over a hundred bucks a few times on the cubes. Haha we used to smoke and shoot/watch eachother shoot for hours while talking shit to eachother for kicks
when i play home game sit-n-go's i smoke a blunt while playing. & by smoke, i mean face it. seriously though i cannot play without smoking. i tend to "over think" it when im not high.... plus i get better reads on people when im high as shit.

When I played sealo with friends I always lost money, I mean yeah I won some money too but in the 2 day period I lost around $5 and won only $2... so I'm not a huge fan of gambling because I find it a waist. Personally, with that money I would invest it in something more... guaranteed(if that makes sense)
agreed... i feel like i'm god when im high with my reads and shit on the other hand, it sometimes pays off. i feel like im more in tune with the cards and get luckier when im high. for instance i went to the casino after lightin up and i got pocket k's twice ak a couple of times and some other solid starting hands, all within 5 minutes. i turned 100 into 600 reall quick. i actually had to leave the table because i was laughing too hard from these ridiculous hands, they wouldnt stop coming. i always hit the river high
