Poems for the Stoned: A Fruitful Night

Discussion in 'The Artist's Corner' started by christian, Oct 17, 2009.

  1. A fruitful night... if that.
A sense of arrogance which once was lost,
But seemingly has now taken over
    In a new sensation.
    Thoughts of the literal past,
    Melodies once heard similarly
    In another life.
    Clothes to suit the occasion,
A new view on things to come,
A different light on my mind.
Acting in a finally normal way,
    A fruitful night... if that.

  2. Walking through the door
As the point of light cycles more
Say and see the different ways,
Listen and speak the things the say.

    Close your mind
    as time rewinds

One self impressed foe changes lines
Your hidden clues turn into crimes

    Chase the over paced man
    Blind sided adventure
    Over mountains and fields.

    Child might be afraid
    I might be ashamed
    We will not be made

Wait I will make the straight line
Wait I will make the straight line

    You won't have the things
    That I think are things

Wait I will make the straight line
Wait I will make the straight line

    Close your mind
    as time rewinds

One self impressed foe changes lines
Your hidden clues turn into crimes

    Chase the over paced man
    Blind sided adventure
    Over mountains and fields

    I turn to blue
    Breathe into you
    Everything's blue
    now its blue

Wait I will make the straight line
Wait I will make the straight line

    You won't have the things
    That I think are things

Wait I will make the straight line
Wait I will make the straight line

    Wait, breathe into you

    I turn to blue
    Breathe into you
    Everything's blue
    now its blue
