The KIS Organics podcast is amazing, with some very interesting and informative episodes. The host is himself a long-time organic grower, I learned a lot from it. Cannabis Cultivation and Science Podcast
Dude Grows and the KIS podcast are awesome. Hell, all of the podcasts I have seen listed I subscribe to and recommend. One more I would love to recommend is not an Organics podcast, but has a ton of great information for growing in general is put out by Rasta Jeff. It is called The Grow With Your Heart podcast. He has a YouTube playlist on how to grow for beginners that I would recommend to anyone. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks FrozenTrojan, I'm listening to KIS today, up to Steve Solomon's remineralization one, I'll look into Rasta Jeff thanks, all the best to you for the New Year
I’m surprised GC doesn’t have members that do their own podcast. I would be down to do an GC Organics Podcast.
As far as I know he doesn’t. He does however write the weekly garden column (year around) in our local paper, Anchorage Daily News. Hasn’t missed writing a column in 40 years. ADN.COM his columns come out on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Good perspective for anyone curious about far north gardening, and he does mention cannabis. Have you seen his new book “DIY Autoflowering Cannabis an easy way to grow your own”? Cheers Os
Jeff is great. i watched one of those podcasts or he was on YT talking about autoflowers being the next big thing. he was trying to put together a farm or a consulting business? he wanted to push autoflowers for legal cannabis industry and i was just like, ahhh Jeff, noooo but i can see how someone with his background and most of it centered on veggies and flowers would see the benefit of a day neutral plant because he doesn't seem like a big cannabis guy to me. So now when i hear his name all i can see is the YT video of him newly excited over autoflowers and it's just ruined.
You have to understand that Jeff lives and writes in a legal state (AK) with 24 hours of sunlight at summer solstice (June 21), and by the time the days get down to 12 hours of sunlight, its typically below freezing. His other 2 books are "Teaming with Fungi" and “DIY Autoflowering Cannabis an easy way to grow your own”. What wrong with growing autoflowers? cheers os
