Poaches?

    Theres some pills around here said to make you feel all relaxed and drunk called poaches. I wanna know the scientific name and learn more about them but I can't find anything online. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    ..i googled and the only thing i saw dealing w/ poaches and pills was "to boil or simmer in a liquid"...
