PM in Colorado....lame start!

  1. COLORADO TEAM....what's your plan and resolve?

I am experiencing some PM on my crop, initially and now again very late flower. I squelched it now with very diluted peroxide/water spray effectively..... I think. And in veg I initially used some organic veggie spray that was sulpher based.

Anyhow, it's now also in my new veg tent with these three tall girls! IMG_3148.JPG I'm thinking I got it from a used tent and wanting to get rid of it for good and learn to mange it or avoid all together here on my indoor grows here in CO.

    Cheers! IMG_3231.JPG

  2. Green Cure once a week every week for us outside growers.
    Cure = Potassium Bicarbonate
    Baking soda = Sodium Bicarbonate.

Both work for baking and both work for PM control 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Drench spray.

  3. GreenCure is a great tool for growers, indoors and out. You can take some preventative measures also.
    1. Keeping the humidity down, below 40% if the PM is persistent.
    2. If you bring in clones from another source, it can be risky.
    3. If you allow friends near your plants it can be risky.
    3. If you allow your pets near the garden it can be risky.....
    Get the idea.
The best approach to control is:
    1. Sanitation, don’t clone infected plants. PM can move through the vascular system.
    2. Quarantine
    3. Introduce clean plants into the garden.
    4. Wear clean clothing when entering your garden.
    5. Spray when PM is just becoming visible.

Note: PM spores must spike into the epidermis of the leaf. You can thicken the leaf surface by including silica in your nutrient program.
