Ok folks, ran into a weak canna oil and need some insight . .

    Procedure:
    1. Shred a little less than 1 g mid level weed
    2. Decarb material 210F for 30 min
    3. Add to coconut oil and add lethicin
    4. Cook in oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring at half time. Temp was 220F
    5. Chug

I did this before straining, and I find unstrained its a bigger punch and kick. Too nasty though. Would like someone to tell me something that would make the concoction strong, its too weak even with all the leaves. Slight buzz in a scale from one to ten only like a 4. If this is supposedly the most effective way to utilize marijuana, I must be doing something way wrong, as if I smoked anywhere near even half a gram Id be high as a kite nowadays. I was a hardcore toker in the day, asthma kick in hard though.

The experience was OK but a little too weak for a full gram. Not cost effective. I've read edibles are supposed to be the most effective way potency wise (better than smoking) to take this substance. If this were so, then I should've gotten knocked out.

Any insight? Ive read a bit and seems Im doing everything OK. The problem is that Im not going to freeze at the end and reheat like some people advise because this adds a rough 8:30 hours to the process, and I dont think that freezing the thing will make it THAT much stronger.. Any advise? How much more strong will it be after the freeze?

    THANKS IN ADVANCED

Only thing I can think of is adding more solvents and heating it for 30 more minutes, I dont want the cbd/cbn insomnia treatment so I dont want to cook for more time. Its a shame if you cook it for like 10 hours, the potency is a lot stronger, but the high is more of a Low than a high as its such potent medicine for sleep.

  2. My understanding of the freeze cycle is that it makes the end product more bio-available not stronger. Meaning you body can more readily absorb the material. Your body, specifically your digestive system, greatly affect how an edible works for you. Another consideration is how recently you had eaten, if taken on a completely empty system your liver can over process the cannabanoids resulting in their loss. I believe the standard recommendation is to consume the infused product 45-60 minutes after a light meal/snack. I can tell you from personal experience that the timing of consuming an edible after eating can greatly affect the buzz, the best high I've had from an edible came from eating it an hour after a small fatty meal (small cheeseburger and fries.)

  3. About how much bioavailable will the freeze make my brew, more or less?
