  1. I have a question thats been rattlin my brain lately. My friend is growing 2 plants but soon will only have enough room for 1. He's plannin on givin me the other plant and im gonna put it outdoors but the only problem is his 12/12 cycle is the opposite so his lights come on when its dark outside and during the day they're off. So if i just put the plant outside will it hermie since its out in the light while its suppose to be in the dark or will it just get used to it and adjust? I would appreciate as much help as possible thanx.

  2. it should be 18/6 if its still in veg man...
but either way its not ideal to moe a plant from indoors to outdoors...
traditionally you either keep it in one or the other...
but if you wanna try it... if it lives through the transplant props to you man...
but no i dont believe the lighting being opposite will have any effect, on how well it will do outdoors..

  3. nope its not in veg it's actually about 3 to 4 weeks flower and due to the unexpected huge stretch theres only enough room for 1 in the cab, and i currently dont have an indoor setup right now which is why i was plannin on putting it outside.

  4. Yeah if it's 3-4 weeks into flowering you are going to stress it out pretty bad when reverting to a vegatative photoperiod. It could hermie or it could not. Either way it sounds like you have to do it, so good luck and hope it doesn't go hermie on you.

  5. I believe that with the length of the days in most latitudes right now, the plant will finish flowering without any problem. Switching the dark/light period isn't going to be a big deal IMO. Sounds like you have another 6-8 wks to flower...by end of May, the nights should be pretty short, so your buds most likely will have a lot of small leaves, but if they're covered with trichomes, no problems.

  6. Ya i was worried about the herming takin place but i think it may be possible finish flowering outside right now because of the photoperiod. Another question i had is that iv'e heard that as soon as seeds begin to produce resin production stops so would that mean that the small buds i do have will remain the same size al the way up to harvest or will they atleast fill out but just no resin production would be involved in that process?

  7. did you pollenate the plant? if not then why are you worried about seeds?

  8. No it doesn't take pollination for a plant to hermie it can be caused by stress or just genetics

  9. yeah i know that. but if it isn't a hermie and you didn't pollenate it then why worry about seeds? it wont have any.

unless your asking because you think it might hermie?

  10. tell your buddy to keep it for 3 more weeks and let it finish there best for the plant

  11. Sounds like a good idea bt definately impossible beacause of space constraints

  12. be sure not to put it DIRECTLY outside... you have to "harden" the plant to get it used to being outdoors ... there are plenty of tutorials on how to harden your girl around the internet ... it basically consists of putting your plant outside for a short amount of time and increasing said time a little more every day ... hope this helps a little

  13. what exactly are the space restraints

  14. he said his buddy had two plants but only room for one... THATS what makes it impossible

  15. well there is no more vertical space and the plants have been tied down about three times and there is just enough room for one plant. I would say the availible space is 3x3 in. I also forgot to mention its a microw grow so everything is'nt full scale. So hopefully this is enough info and thanx again for all the hep.

  16. Hey dude, I know you said there are space constraints, why don't you just snap all the branches over Until it will fit, it will give him more of a canopy and more of a yield if he does.. And many believe that the stress and the huge knuckle the plant makes where you bend it over help the flowers on it to be that much bigger... It is by no means impossible, you just have to grow them into it rather then letting them grow out of it.. :D
