    So in flowering i flushed my plant with A MASSIVE amount of silica. Everything else was organic. Like I put wayyyyy to much silica in flowering and I didn’t flush any of it out. Is this safe for consumption?

    Silica is harmful to the lungs kidneys and whatever else extended periods of time using the shit gives you scar tissue in the lungs and shit (popcorn lungs) half the shit I get it sprayed heavily with silica, don't worry too much just don't keep smoking only that mix it up with natural stuff mainly.

    It’s not sprayed with anything. I just watered using an insane amount of silica potassium. Does silica get in the buds that way ??

    No, as a matter of fact, the problem with liquid silica is getting it into the roots and leaves. It's hit or miss. What was your ph with all that silica? I won't grow without it, but switching to 50/50 peat/vermiculite eliminated my need to add any liquid silica and the plants look like they are getting even more. Silica gets a bad rap since only the grower notices the difference. Next time, check out the vermiculite and see if that works for you, I wouldn't worry about silica in your smoke.

    I have no clue what the ph was man. I just kept flushing and flushing with ALOT ALOT of silica to raise the ph in my soil. Definitely NOT a smart move. Wasn’t thinkin right at the time. Thanks for your help man. Is it even possible to get silica in the buds ? even if you use an INSANE amount?

    yes, maybe not the actual silica, but particles of who knows what, and plain old tap is not any better. If you fear you have crap in your buds, you can spray distilled water with a very fine mist 300ml hairspray bottle on them. But anything more of any kind of liquid is just asking for trouble. And I really don't think you have any trouble to begin with. To properly set ph of soil use dolomite lime. If too high add peat. For silica add vermiculite.
