May plants are starting to get blackish tips and some other dark areas on the leaves Please let me know what I need to do I am new to growing. Hi black dark areas on leafs normally indicate a phosphous problem. Ya ph ok so maybe ya nutes but not fimiliar wi wat ya using... may need to look at phosperas content on nutes etc. Just an idea but im not an expert. . Hope it helps x
Ps if ya medium etc is rich in iron and zinc ya phospheras cant get through. Wats ph of ya growing meduim? If high that can corse it. Double check wi other growers but i ad dark patches and phisperas was my problem . Xxx
Thanks kym. After some research I came up with the same thing. I am using clay peddles I'm not sure if that is high in zinc and iron? Any other help is much appreciated. Hi skitlez. Clay pebbles shud be fine.. did ya wash them? I dont think pebbles problem love. Im not fimiliar wi ya nutes so check n.p.k on bottle love . I av used phosphurus from garden centre but i only put about less than a quater of a teaspoon in wi feed of 5 liters. This was a few yrs back so i hope im remembering ok!!! I think i only used it for a few feeds but i used tds meter so didnt give em too much. I feel bad that i cant quite remember love as was a while ago. I no it was in veg it happened to me and cured the problem . I am worried as dont want to miss advise you but as for as can remember the phosperas crystals from garden center helped. I was doin siol at time and i was defo in veg stagd wi black and dark leaf patches. I hope it works for you too if ya try it. Try and get more advise before but worst case sinorio thats the way i wood go. Xx goid luck luv xx
