    So tonight me and my friend were driving. He was driving but he doesn't have his permit and he had bud on him. We hot boxed the car we were in for a good half an hour.. But on our way home we got pulled over and the cop searched the whole car since it wasn't his and he didn't have a license and he found the bud.. My friend was arrested and I can't get ahold of him so I'm wondering what's gonna happen to him?

    it depends on how much he was charged with primarily, but depending on how serious those laws are in your area, he might be in jail for a long time or a little time

    The response above me isn't accurate. He will be in jail until he is bailed out. He wasn't sentenced to prison. YET. (sarcasm)

    What did he get pulled over for? why would you even drive without a permit.. while high.. when you clearly can't handle being high, cause you got fucking pulled over.

    It was still his car right?? Probably get a a ticket for driving with no licence which I dunno how bad it is where u are but in bc it's a $300 fine and 3 points and than he will probably get a possession charge which depends on where u live again and how much u had, lol maybe you should go to your jail and see if he can be bailed out or something

    And no they don't just hold you in jail until you get bailed out lol, you know you have rights right? They need to give him a lawyer and a trial and than they will determine what he's charged with, they can't just hold you prisoner if no one comes to bail you out lol

    How old was your friend?
    Who's car was your friend driving?
    How much weed was it?
    Was there paraphernalia?

    These are all factors you did not list that are essential, lol.
