wondering if i can get some input on my fan issue. i just bought 2 dynex 80mm case fans. their both DC12 volt with a 0.18A and move 34.5 CFM at 2500rpm. i hooked one of them up to a power cord from a little water fountain that we never use. its input is 120VAC, 60Hz, 12w. the output is 12VAC, 350mA. the power cord i just described is all black. ya know how most have a white line down one side for the neg. or pos. side. well it works, and sucks air out pretty good i guess. im just curious if it should be running faster, and do i have it hooked up to a good power source? (ive never personally seen one in action in a grow box before is why im askin) so dont think im a complete idiot. any info would be great. also my grow box is 2 1/2' wide x 3 1/2' deep x 4' high. thanx again.
your asking us if it should be running faster? how are we supposed to know we can't see it running. and if you havea 12v fan running on a 12v then it is running as fast as it is meant to, unless you have a deffective fan which we again could not possibly know.
